The first of a new joint ISO9001/ISO14001 internal auditor training course took place on 11-12 July for Glendale Midlands, South and South West Regions.

The Landscape and Ecology team at Parkwood Consultancy Services has completed the detailed design and administration of the Phase 1 hard and soft landscape works at Wyre Forest Cemetery and Crematorium in Kidderminster, North Worcestershire.

We are delighted to announce that Jacalyn Evans joined Parkwood Consultancy Services in November 2010, as the new Managing Director.

Work has started on a £4.2 million cemetery and crematorium to serve the Wyre Forest area. The new facility is the result of a partnership between Wyre Forest District Council, which has contributed £1.25 million, and Dignity plc. The project is managed by Parkwood Consultancy Services who have also provided the landscape architectural designs.

Financial close was reached between Bristol City Council and Bristol Active Limited (a special purpose company owned by Equitix, set up specifically to deliver the project) on 14th April.

The quick thinking and prompt action of 3 Dereham Leisure Centre pool lifeguards was recognised officially this week, when they were presented with Royal Life Saving Society Certificates of Meritorious Action by Breckland Council Chief Executive, Trevor Holden.
