Across the River Cherwell to Spiceball Leisure Centre in Banbury

Councillor Reynolds, portfolio holder of Cherwell District Council, Ben Ramsey of Kier Moss, Patrick Rendall of Cherwell Leisure Limited and Chris Lane of Kier Moss were present on 13th October 2009 as the span of the footbridge was laid into place across the River Cherwell in Banbury towards the end of the construction of Spiceball Leisure Centre.

Spiceball Leisure Centre is the major part of a £25M construction project also involving refurbishing and extending both Kidlington & Gosford and Bicester Leisure Centres. When it is open at the end of the year, Spiceball Leisure Centre will offer a modern leisure complex, including swimming pools, a large sports hall, dance studios and a 150 station fitness suite for the people of Banbury.
